Stuff the Bus for CBN Event

During Summer Planning, on August 20, 2025, Provincial Executive, NLTA members, and staff came together to host Stuff the Bus in support of colleagues, friends, and the CBN community impacted by the wildfires and the response was overwhelming.

In total four school buses were filled with donated items, and a total of $15,000 will be donated to the Red Cross on behalf of the NLTA and its members to support those impacted in CBN, which includes donations made on site, email transfers, and the NLTA’s contribution. A portion of the donations has been set aside to create a fund to assist the teachers at Cabot Academy in replacing their lost classroom resources during the 2025-26 school year. Details on how to access those funds will be communicated to the affected staff at Cabot Academy.
