NMC OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Training

NMC Loss Prevention Specialist James Chaves held an OSHA 30-hour training in Bernalillo County. Those in attendance were from Bernalillo, San Juan, Sandoval, San Miguel, Valencia, Sierra, Torrance, Santa Fe, and Rio Arriba Counties.

This training is for local governments, those they have given subawards to, and also state agency recipients of State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds Iaka COVID funds, SLFRF, or ARPA funds). It will be held in person at the Santa Fe County Commission Chambers, and also online via livestream. Deadline December 31, 2024.

NM Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources Department's Climate Policy Bureau is hosting community conversations across NM to debut and collect feedback on NM's first ever State Climate Adaptation and Resilience Plan (CARP).

NM MFA Housing Opportunities

The New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority offers the Housing Innovation Program as a resource to address housing needs that are currently not being served through other MFA programs and an opportunity for eligible applicants to fund a community-tailored housing solution. MFA looks to assist underserved populations, cultivate new partnerships, and fund projects that may be scalable. Planning activities, funding for operational expenses, and housing development projects that could be eligible for funding through MFA’s current programs will not be considered for an award.
