Thank you to everyone who attended the 2018 Hospitality and Tourism TRENDS & Annual Meeting! You helped make the event a success!

Every year, the New Mexico Hospitality Association hosts TRENDS to provide New Mexico hospitality and tourism professionals with the best opportunity to learn industry trends from business experts and to engage and network with stakeholders to position you for success in 2018.

This year, our TRENDS program focused on the reveal of our New Mexico travel trends data dashboard, conversion through search keywords, optimizing the New Mexico True co-op marketing program, driving conversion with the latest travel trends, and situational awareness and active shooter prevention, along with our keynote presentation from STR focusing on performance trends and forecasts.

For the second consecutive year, NMHA partnered with the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce and the New Mexico Association of Commerce and Industry to bring back the Bridging Business and Government program. TRENDS attendees were afforded the opportunity to attend the Annual Legislative Reception hosted by the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce on the evening of Jan. 29, and the opportunity to attend the Business Day in Santa Fe hosted by ACI the morning of Jan. 30.

NMHA also held its Annual Meeting shortly after lunch on Jan. 30 where the executive committee provided an update on the state of the association, along with forecasts and developments for the upcoming year. The executive committee also formally transitioned Antoinette Vigil, Director of Economic Development for Sandoval County, in as Board Chair after previous Board Chair Phil San Filippo, Director of the Economic Development Department for the City of Las Cruces, successfully served his term as Board Chair. Thank you for your service Phil.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the New Mexico State Capitol Building on Jan. 31 to participate in Tourism Day!

The New Mexico Hospitality Association teamed up with the New Mexico Tourism Department at the Capitol Building on Jan. 31 to celebrate New Mexico tourism and advocate for support of the industry.
