Coming of Age in New Milford

Holiday Origami with Heidi Lenney

Join Heidi Lenney as she hosts an origami workshop for those wanting to learn simple origami. The workshop will build on basic folding skills for beginners, but advanced folders are welcome, too. Shapes which will be taught are: Pocket Penguin to hold small gifts; Geometric Ornaments; Santa Box and Espiral Estrella which are spiral stars. Class size is limited.

Her life is full of routines, boundaries and self-control -- all of which get put to the test when she meets Will, an impossibly charming teen who has the same illness. There's an instant flirtation, though restrictions dictate that they must maintain a safe distance between them. As their connection intensifies, so does the temptation to throw the rules out the window and embrace that attraction

Cookbook Club

J oin us as the New Milford Library Cookbook Club samples some pre-Thanksgiving fare. To join the Cookbook Club, come to the library's main desk to peruse the current cookbook. November's cookbook is Giving Thanks .

Choose a recipe and bring samples to the meeting (always the third Thursday of each month). Join us for an evening of chattin’ and chewin’ on the appointed day. Return to step one and get ready for another fabulous month.
