In a video by TSG MultiMedia: "California's Central Coast Region is home to a lot of railroad-related history. Just like everywhere else in the west, California was developed largely along the railroad tracks. The Pacific Coast Railroad, Santa Maria Valley Railroad, and Southern Pacific are featured prominently in this history.

Fast forward to modern times, and we find historical societies maintaining old Southern Pacific structures and preserving the history in the area. Along with that, we have scale modelers of all types carving out their own miniature railroad empires.

In this program, our host Paul Deis, takes us on an adventure, as we visit more than a dozen of these railroads and hear from the people who run them."
