I hope that you enjoyed some travel and family time this summer. It's hard to believe that the kids will be venturing back to school in a few days. Check out some safety information for students and parents for school safety below.

As an Associate member of NMUCA you may participate in this event at no charge. (only NMUCA Associates can participate as a vendor) We'll start early at the regularly scheduled membership meeting so that our members, guests, and potential members can browse around a display area where you may set up a booth or just have a place to talk.

It's almost time for kids to go back to school. Whether children walk, ride their bicycle or take the bus to school, it is extremely important that they take proper safety precautions.

Parents should talk to their children about traffic safety, and drivers should be aware that children will be making their way to school. Click Here are some tips to make sure your child safely travels to school.

Stop on Red Week 2025 is observed from August 3rd to August 9th. This national campaign aims to raise awareness about the dangers of running red lights and promote safer intersections. The National Coalition for Safer Roads (NCSR) sponsors the event, encouraging drivers to make a conscious effort to stop on red and highlighting the importance of intersection safety. 

Spiders are feared by many people all around the world. For the most part, they are harmless creatures to humans. However, there is a small number of species that are known to be a danger to humans. In the United States, there are two kinds of spiders that are normally mentioned as a danger to a person’s health if bitten. These spiders are of the recluse type and the widow type.

Safe + Sound Week 2025: August 11-17, 2025

Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide event held each August that recognizes the successes of workplace safety and health programs and offers information and ideas on how to keep America’s workers safe. This year Safe + Sound Week will provide resources and activities for businesses on emergency preparedness and response that can be done at work or at home.
