Dear NMYAFL Parent,
As we near the end of the 2022 fall football season we want all to be aware of NMYAFL equipment return policy update. All equipment is due to be returned on or before December 1st.
Players equipment returned before December 1st will be able to receive NMYAFL equipment for the 2023 season without having to provide an equipment deposit.
Varsity players in 2023 are required to pay a $75 Equipment deposit.
Players equipment returned after December 1st will be required to provide a $75 equipment deposit prior to receiving NMYAFL equipment for the 2023 season.
If a players equipment has not been returned once registration opens that player will not be allowed to register until the equipment is returned. The player will then be required to provide a $75 equipment deposit to receive 2023 NMYAFL equipment after registration.
It is critical that we get all of the NMYAFL gear returned before December 1st so that we can have the equipment reconditioned and also to complete our inventory so we know what new equipment we need to purchase for 2023.
To make life easier for parents and families NMYAFL will be collecting equipment from teams not moving on to the next round of playoffs at the stadiums after the Sunday games. Please look for an NMYAFL Van/Trailer at the main exit/entrance to return your players equipment. There will be someone there to remove the equipment from your players record, once it's turned in you will receive an email confirming the return. You will also be asked to sign a equipment return log book at the venue after which you can take picture for your records as well.
To verify we have the correct email in your players record you can log into your NMYAFL account and make any necessary account detail changes to ensure you get the equipment return receipt.
If you return your players equipment at the stadiums after your last game you do not have to remove the decals.
If your team is participating in any post season play you may hang onto your equipment and return before December 1st
If you choose to return your equipment at the NMYAFL office please be sure to remove all decals from the helmet.
