Donate Blood with the American Red Cross

The American Red Cross faces a severe blood shortage due to an unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations during this corona virus outbreak. Healthy individuals are needed to schedule an appointment to give in the days and weeks ahead to help patients counting on lifesaving blood throughout this pandemic.

Click here to visit the Red Cross website and learn about precautions taken in relation to COVID-19.

Religious Emblem Awards

Looking for activities for cub scouts at home? Advancement, achievement, and religious emblem award opportunities are available to fulfill our Scouts’ Duty to God. The religious emblem program was designed to encourage members to grow stronger in their faith, and practice the BSA value of reverence. Click here for the full BSA Duty to God booklet. For more information regarding specific denominations and award opportunities, email Jordan.brown@scouting.org . We believe this is a wonderful way for Scouts to learn and grow during this time.

Are you ready to get out of the house and get back outdoors? Summer camp season is right around the corner, and we're planning on having our camps open for an awesome summer! Our camp team at NNJC is closely monitoring and adhering to all CDC and NY/NJ DOH Health and Safety Guidelines. We have a high standard of health expectations for all our camps, and we assure all Scouts and Scouting families that additional cleaning and precautions will be taken prior to and during this summer season. Click here for information from the American Camp Association (ACA) about healthy camping measures that should be taken from home. Our NNJC Camp Department is happy to provide additional information as well.
