The 2026 Feast of Saint James is back on Thursday July 9th, Friday July 10th, and Saturday July 11th. All nights are from 6 to 10 p.m.

We need volunteers from our Council members and Ladies Auxiliary!

With only one week to go, we still have volunteer positions unfilled in the areas our Council is heading-up! We once again need your help!

Below you will find a list of areas where we need help and the Area Captains in charge. If you have not already done so, please reach out to them (call or text) and let them know what days and times you're available to help out.

There is also information below on help needed before the Feast on Wednesday, July 7th, including food prep and setting up the Sausage Connection booth.

Please also note that due to the proximity of the Feast and the involvement of most of our Officers, there will be no July Business Meeting. Instead, we will be holding a brief Feast Volunteers' Meeting on Tuesday, July 7th, at 7:00 p.m. We'll cover the final plans for prep and setup on Wednesday, for all three nights of the Feast, and for cleanup on Sunday morning.

CASINO GAME WHEELS (Take bets, payout winnings): Sign up in the Feast Volunteer Book in the Parish Office.

SAUSAGE CONNECTION & POLISH FOOD (Food prep, cooking, food & beverage service; cashiers): PGK Tim McDonald (914) 589-3508.

SHIFTS FOR ALL ABOVE AREAS:

1. Thursday 7/9 - 5:30 to 8 p.m.
2. Thursday 7/9 - 8 to 10 p.m.
3. Friday 7/10 - 5:30 to 8 p.m.
4. Friday 7/10 - 8 to 10 p.m.
5. Saturday 7/11 - 5:30 to 8 p.m.
6. Saturday 7/11 - 8 to 10 p.m.
7. Sunday Morning Cleanup (time TBA).

We will also need help doing setup and food prep throughout the day on Wednesday, 7/8, both at our Council and at St. James.

If you're willing to help clean and cut peppers and onions, please come to Doherty Hall at 10:00 on Wednesday. Please bring your own knife and cutting board.

We will need help setting up the Sausage Connection booth after the tents are up. We expect to do this on Wednesday morning, and we'll confirm the time at our Volunteers' Meeting on Tuesday evening, or you can contact DGK John Crecco at (914) 804-0664.

If you'd like to help with food prep for the Sausage and Polish Food booths, please come to the Council kitchen starting at 10:00 on Wednesday.

Brothers and Ladies, we absolutely cannot do this without your help! We cherish our regular crew of volunteers but we definitely need new volunteers too!
