We are pleased to congratulate the students who have earned 2021 Scholarship Awards from North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE). These scholarships will go a long way in helping students to provide books or supplies in order to complete their classes, to fund certifications to advance in their careers, to transition and pay for initial costs at college, or simply to help pay for other costs related to education. Thank you to the myriad of donors who have generously provided funds to our institution for student scholarships over the years. Especially now during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, these scholarship funds are the lifeline that our students need in order to continue their education and pursue increased college and job opportunities! Congratulations, NOCE students! We congratulate you for your hard work and commitment to achieving your goals. North Orange Continuing Education offers a variety of scholarships to students on an annual basis. This NOCE Scholarship Program is part of the Community College Foundation of North Orange County (CCFONOC), informally known as the NOCCCD Foundation. Established in 1987, the CCFONOC is a charitable, not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization under provisions of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as well as a public charity, according to Section 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the Internal Revenue Code. The foundation's purpose is to assist in the achievement and maintenance of superior educational and community programs of the North Orange County Community College District. In 2008, the bylaws were expanded to include a standing committee to administer scholarship opportunities for North Orange Continuing Education students.
