Nehemiah 13:22  |  Amplified Bible (AMP)

22 And I commanded the Levites to cleanse themselves and come and guard the gates to keep the Sabbath day holy. O my God, [earnestly] remember me concerning this also and spare me according to the greatness of Your mercy and loving-kindness.

Highest regards and God Bless,

Every church security team Should Have men of spiritual leadership quality Involved With the leadership team . At my church, info info info info info info we have many such men  One of those is my good friend Chris Zook who - when posting the team assignments each week - Typically Provides a short thought for the week.

Not only do I want to Encourage every team to make sure the proper injecting They are spiritual awareness With All the other duty stuff, but I also want to reprint Chris's encouragement to our team this week.

As I understand his thought this week comes from a "you version" Bible Study he is doing.

I love what Coach Lou Holtz, a former South Carolina football coach, has said about his team at the beginning of many seasons says I remind him of the Kamikaze pilot who flew fifty missions They -. Involved, but not Committed  He says a lot Get Involved of players, but time will tell if they're really Committed to the cause for the good of the team, and if they're Committed to helping the team be a success.
On a team, in the office or in the church, we have a lot of folks who are Involved, Committed but are not enough who will get the job done, no matter what it Takes. How about you, when it comes to your life and your Responsibilities?

Are you just Involved, Committed or are you to do your best for the good of the team, the group, and all concerned?
Most of all, are you Committed to do your best for the glory of God, to please Him before anyone else? That's always the key to ultimate success.

2 Corinthians 8:5 And This They did, not as we hoped, but first gave Their Own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.

  • Chris made me think of two of my favorite scriptures.
Think of your service to your church this week with Chris's thoughts and the Following scriptures applied (as well as the scripture That Chris ended his e-mail to the team with)
  • Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NIV)  Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your Might
  • Colossians 3:23 (NIV)
Whatever you do, work at it With All your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters
  • Every e-mail I have sent At least since 2006 has ended with Nehemiah 4:9 (NIV)
"We prayed to our God and posted a guard ..." As church security operators we are like sheepdogs trembling with excitement over the last That part of verse - Yes! We are the guards! Do not do this on your own - PRAY. Assign some to be spiritual leaders of your pack.
