Happy Mother's Day

In honor of Mother’s Day we wanted to hear from the moms in our community. We asked a few questions & gathered your feedback. The response was so much more than we'd hoped for. As you read through this heartfelt collection our hope is that you are encouraged. Our wish is that you allow yourself to be proud of what you wake up and do every day. Our dream is that you are able to find a moment of joy in the daily tasks that feel monotonous. Each of these quotes are so relatable. You will feel a connection with these mamas and it's important for you to know that you are not alone.

Happy Mother's Day to each and every one of you.

What are you most proud of when it comes to motherhood?

“Every milestone that’s met, every achievement celebrated no matter how small.”  - Jacqui

“That I chose life without hesitation for my oldest son after I was told to “consider all my options” when they discovered his P-ACC.  As young as I was, I was exactly the mom he needed, too.” - Krissy

“That two living miracles are walking before me. Sometimes I just look at them and I'm so amazed. It was a 8 year journey to have our first and my dream has become reality” - Kewanna

“Getting through the day to day challenges.” - Jessica

“My kids. How wonderful they are with each other. And, my ability to be a strong advocate for our son.” - Kristy

What have you learned from your child(ren)?

“Patience, compassion, love, flexibility” - Heather

“That their spirit and determination is so incredibly strong. They take on insurmountable challenges and keep on trying and smiling.” - Kristen M.

“I’ve learned to be more patient and understanding and to see things more through her eyes.” - Lori

“Creative Thinking” - Julie

“Keep going! Don't let some diagnoses stop you!” - Kelly

In your day-to-day motherhood journey, what brings you the most joy?

“Watching my kids show love to others and themselves” - Emma

“The sitting together with no agenda, relaxed and being together doing nothing.” -Jaclyn

“Seeing them grow in their abilities” - Anne Marie

“Cuddling my girls, even if we've had a tough day.” - Tracy

What's the best piece of motherhood advice you've received?

“Pick your battles and let it ride” - Amber

“Take it each day,  hour,  moment at a time and just do the next thing. Also, you don't have to make a decision right away... it's OK to take the time to think things through.” - Erin

“Days are long but the years go fast, be present in the little moments.” - Tara

“Progress is progress no matter how slow” - Faith

“Never compare your kids to other kids. All kids develop at their own pace and that is the best pace for them.” - Barbie

Mamas, we celebrate you! You are loved, you are strong, and you are doing an amazing job. Thank you for everything you contribute to this community. We are truly inspired.
