Spring has Sprung!

Care Amiche e Cari Amici,

Spring is the season of new possibilities, of rebirth and regrowth. And, here at NOIAW, of new friends! Please help us welcome our new members listed towards the bottom of this newsletter.

As we embrace the newly budding trees and flowers, we look forward to embracing our members very soon at our Annual Luncheon! We hope you'll help us to spread the word about this upcoming event. You can find the details below.

Buone feste e benvenuta primavera!

Happy Passover! Chag Sameach! Buona Pasqua ebraica to all who are celebrating.

Traditionally marked by a dinner, or seder, to recount the story of the Exodus from Egypt, in Italy this special meal is typically concluded with "bocca di dama," a special almond sponge cake!

You can find a recipe here.

Buona Pasqua! Happy Easter to all who celebrate.

Marked by services in church as well as family meals, Easter in Italia is often associated with the Colomba - meaning "dove" - a sweet holiday bread.
