UVBA UPDATES
Dear Businesses:
More reopenings were announced on Thursday of last week in New Hampshire.


NEW HAMPSHIRE INFO:

NONPROFITS - 501c3 nonprofits may begin to apply for the NH Nonprofit Emergency Relief Fund . Applications open June 11 and close June 25.

REOPENINGS:
Effective June 15
Gyms and Fitness Centers  may open at 50% capacity, Bowling Alleys, Indoor Sports,  Amateur Sports
Racetracks may open at 50% capacity
Charitable gaming, Museums, Libraries and Funeral Homes may reopen.

On June 29
Indoor Movie Theaters , Performing Arts Venues and Amusement Parks will be able to reopen. The guidance documents are still in draft form but expected to finalized this week.

The Governor's Reopening Taskforce is also drafting Phase 2 of several sector's guidelines including the Universal Guidelines and Retail Guidelines. We will send out links once those have been adopted.

On June 15, the Stay at Home Order will transistion to a Safer at Home Recommendation. Restrictions of gatherings of less than 10 will be lifted.

PPP Funds Still Available Until June 30
You still have time to access PPP funds until June 30. Contact your local lender. Payback period has now been extended to 24 weeks - see details here .

VERMONT INFO:
On Friday, Governor Scott announced his Economic Relief and Recovery Package of $310 million for businesses. Unfortunately, these funds are not yet available pending approval by the Vermont Legislature. Initially this proposal was for over $400 million which the Legislature voted to cut in half.

Vermont businesses are urged to contact your legislators and let them know that businesses need immediate and critical relief. At this time, no plan for distributing these funds has been announced.

On Monday, June 15, Governor Scott extended the State of Emergency to July 15.

UVBA has partnered with the Grafton Regional Development Corp and the Small Business Development Center to provide assistance for businesses in the Upper Valley and Sullivan County to navigate the federal and state programs due to Covid19.
