NORTH STATE BIA POSTS AUGUST SALES NUMBERS

ROSEVILLE - A total of 396 new homes were sold during August in the greater Sacramento region, the North State Building Industry Association reported today. The sales were reported in 155 subdivisions in the six-county Greater Sacramento region from Marysville and Yuba City in the north to Galt in the south.  In addition, 13,100 people visited active new-home communities last month.

BIA President and CEO Michael Strech said the sales and traffic figures demonstrate the demand for new homes continues to grow.

"In August our members sold nearly 400 new homes, continuing the positive trend that we have been experiencing throughout the year. This number reflects solid demand and ongoing confidence in our local economy." Strech said.
