ROSEVILLE - A total of 312 new homes were sold during September in the greater Sacramento region, the North State Building Industry Association reported today. The sales were reported in 154 subdivisions in the six-county Greater Sacramento region from Marysville and Yuba City in the north to Galt in the south.  In addition, 11,385 people visited active new-home communities last month.

BIA President and CEO Michael Strech said the sales and traffic figures demonstrate a continued demand for new homes in the Sacramento Region.

" While we saw home sales decline slightly in September, the industry remains confident in the healthy housing market which continues to experience solid demand, historically low interest rates and a solid economy" Strech said.
