NOSORH Annual Meeting - Call for Speaker Proposals!
The National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) is now accepting speaker proposals for the 2023 NOSORH Annual Meeting! You are invited to submit your proposal(s) to present rural innovations, research findings, model programs, resources, and projects to all 50 State Offices of Rural Health. The NOSORH Annual Meeting will be held in Traverse City, Michigan, on September 19-21, 2023.

Rural Health Capital Resources Master Class - Registration Closes May 2
The NOSORH Rural Health Capital Resources Initiative presents a Master Class for busy professionals who want to learn more about accessing and utilizing capital from federal, state, and private sources for rural health development projects. Participants will gain key insights into applying successful funding and partnership strategies to their work. This four-course series will include instruction from national experts in community development finance, federal program funding, healthcare partnerships, and rural philanthropy. Rural Health Policy Update
On April 25, NOSORH spent the day visiting with lawmakers and their staff on Capitol Hill. NOSORH met with House and Senate offices to advocate for increased appropriations for the SORH program in FY '24 and reauthorization of the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility grant program (Flex). The late April DC weather was ideal for NOSORH as they joined with other Rural Health Action Alliance members to promote their advocacy agenda. Read More
