NOT The Judge!!! 8/18/24
Romans 10:8-11 (KJV)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
The above Scripture is Christianity in a nutshell-the beauty is in its simplicity.
Not everyone is CALLED into “full-time ministry.”
And, YES, WE are CALLED to:
Mark 16:15 (KJV)
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
And, YES, if possible WE all need to be BAPTISED:
Mark 16:16 (KJV)
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Please note as a possible exception, the thief on the Cross.......
Luke 23:42-43 (KJV)
42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
As I READ MY BIBLE last night in the wee hours of the morning, (Amanda had a rough night last night!) I studied Romans 10 PRAYERFULLY.
The Apostle Paul was of Jewish descent and was speaking expressly to those of like kin.
I, also, can trace my linage to Jewish origin,
My father was a Jew but did not observe the religion of the Jews-in fact, he hid his origin because of the religious hatred and persecution of his day. I only stumbled upon this fact in my late teens.
Romans 10:1-3 (KJV)
1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Verse 3 stood out to me as Paul carefully outlines the fault with the Jewish religion.
Please read Verse 3 carefully and PRAYERFULLY as you will take note also of this fallacy.
John 1:11-13 (KJV)
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
The Jews STUMBLED on the stumblingstone JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Romans 9:33 (KJV)
33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Isaiah 28:16 (KJV)
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

One's SALVATION cannot be physically observed and/or judged by outward appearance or even actions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THERE IS ONLY ONE JUDGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Romans 14:4 (KJV)
4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
James 4:11-12 (KJV)
11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
I, personally, have never preached anyone's funeral with JUDGEMENT!! Some funerals I have the hope and “appearance” of the deceased salvation..............................

Revelation 20:11-15 (KJV)
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
