December SR Childcare Center Attendance: Next Steps
The Office of Early Learning is working diligently to resolve the remaining issues and release the OEL Portal attendance features. However, it will not be ready in time for December attendance. Therefore, we will continue with the payment contingency plan for December 2018. We know that this is not ideal but sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.
The Coalition will continue to pay providers on time using amounts from our accounting system for June 2018. The amount will be adjusted for the 21 reimbursable days for December. At this time, the Coalition will NOT be collecting absence forms or supporting documentation. Please save these documents, as you will need to upload them to the OEL Provider Portal when it is fully functional and you can record the attendance electronically.
The December SR payment will be deposited to your bank account on Friday, January 18, 2019.
When possible, providers will need to enter their attendance into the new OEL Portal for July, August, September, October, November and December. In addition, the Coalition team will process these payments in the new OEL system, when possible, with attendance entered by the providers. We will use the new OEL system data and our accounting system to reconcile the difference between the estimated monthly payments with the correct monthly payments from the new system. This will allow the Coalition to reconcile and true-up payments and make any necessary adjustments afterward.
Please check your email for updates. Your patience is greatly appreciated as we continue the transition process to the new OEL system. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience.
