"Be still and know that I am God" -Psalm 46:10 CSB
Hi Team!
Welcome to our October Northern Virginia Scouting Report.
You’ve all heard it: “Be still and know that I am God” (Ps. 46:10). What does it mean? It is God telling us to let go of circumstances beyond our control. It is a reminder from God that He alone is in the "driver's seat."
When God asks us to be still, He’s asking us to surrender to Him. He’s asking us to depend on Him and Him alone. To TRUST and abide in Him! To Go "with Him."
As we strive to reach EVERY coach and athlete in our FCA Northern Virginia footprint, we understand that the "battle is not ours" but that God has invited us to be part of what He is doing on the fields and courts and in the hearts of coaches and athletes.
This month, we will highlight Greater Fairfax - Mason and Lara Stapelton. Lara serves as an Area Representative on 4 Campuses and has a heart to reach the Lacrosse Community. Please continue to pray for Lara and her ministry both on the campuses she serves and for opportunities in the League and Club Lacrosse environment.
THANK YOU! I continued to be encouraged by each one of YOU. Whether you are serving on Staff or as a Board Member, I thank God for your commitment to "lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church". TOGETHER, we are making "disciples that make disciples."
In Christ,
Todd Burger
