Dear Area 26 Supporters,

Once again, Polar Plunge Season is upon us. Our Area 26 Plunge Team, the Ice Dippers, is open for registration and donations for the Prince William Site. Area 26 Team leader Coach William "Bill" Creighton is leading a team for cold water excitement.

Make sure if you sign up to plunge or donate, you do it on Bill's team, so that Area 26 gets their half of the funds collected!!

DATE/TIME: February 17th, 11 AM Check-in

LOCATION: Leesylvania State Park, Virginia

WHO can Plunge?

Anyone! While the goal of Fundraising is to raise money, it’s also about raising awareness and getting more people active in our community. So we encourage everyone to get involved in whatever capacity makes sense for you - join our Area team, cheer on the team at the event, or contribute monetarily in support.

Plunge Logistics

Join us for the Prince William Plunge, where we’ll be strutting our stuff and taking an icy dip into the Potomac – all for a great cause. Bring your friends and family out for fun music and food, and chance to claim the title as the best-dressed plunger. Remember it's $100 to Plunge, with cool incentives and chances to win along the way!

Schedule Details:

11 am - Food Trucks Open for Lunch Sales

1 pm - Check-In/Registration Closes

A HUGE effort for Area 26…

Currently, our local area involves over 2000 athlete-participants and 1500 volunteers (coaches, referees, event supporters, etc…). We have one of the most diverse programs in the U.S., offering 24 sports during the year – from Alpine Skiing to Volleyball, with our newest offering being the up and coming sport, Pickleball!! Our Basketball program alone has more than 40 different teams!! However, it requires that we raise over $100,000.00 each year to run all of these sports.

You can learn more about our programs on our website-
