In 2019, The PULSE Exchange, our school’s pantry, was established to meet the dietary needs of students and their families. Monthly pantry distributions at parent night transformed into weekly tabling for students to take home a bag of food. In 2022, DFOY’s LTW Program and PULSE’s former Parent Coordinator, Ms. Del Rio, partnered with Stop and Shop’s School Food Pantry Program, which resulted in a $10,000 sponsorship.

These additional funds supported in expanding the PULSE Exchange into a full fledged school store. Not only are students able to receive food, but in addition we provide school supplies, books, snacks, toiletries and household items, school apparel and clothing for all ages. In the spirit of thanksgiving, we celebrated our pantry program and hosted a grand opening!

That’s right, the PULSE Exchange is open and ready to serve the needs of our school’s community!! This little room is going to make some major impact. Special thanks to the students and staff who helped make it happen and to DFOY, Stop and Shop and World Vision for your continued support and contributions.
