Over the last few weeks, the Montaukett Book Club joined the Walt Whitman's Birthplace in reading the book, Why You Can't Teach United States History without Americans Indians. Our first discussions were a great success! Once again, the high students from Manhasset Union Free School District attended virtually.

We are excited and thank, all of our partners and friends that are helping to make our 2022 journey a success! Please continue to stay safe during these trying times and join us during this Native American Heritage Month!

Sincerely,

Chief Robert Pharaoh
