VOLUME 44 . ISSUE 11 . NOV 2019
Every year, Vision Night is an important event in the life of our church. We celebrate what God has done over the past year and we share a vision for the upcoming year. Our Vision Night is especially important this year. We will highlight plans for an addition to our current facility, which will prepare you for the congregational approval of this project on November 10th. You’ll also get to hear how this new tool will be used to help us accomplish our mission of leading people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus.
We hope to see you on Wednesday, November 6th at 7 pm!

Anyone who met Jesus knew pretty quickly that he was like no one else. Some who listened to him said, “No one ever spoke like this man!” (John 7:46) But it wasn’t just what he said. Jesus stood out because of his actions… his miracles… his compassion… his presence. As our journey through the life of Jesus continues, we’ll look at several stories that help us understand why he was no ordinary man.
Join us for worship every Sunday at 9 am or 10:45 am
Full programming is available for kids from birth - 5th grade
Can you believe it? December is almost here, and with that means fun Christmas celebrations. And what better way to celebrate the amazing story of Jesus coming so that we can have an eternal Home with God forever, than our kids singing to celebrate this wonderful news?

This year your kid will have the opportunity to sing a song on Sunday morning, December 8th as part of the worship service. Beginning in early November, please watch for emails and communication at child check-out to see how your kid can get involved. We will be practicing this song on Sunday mornings, but you can also practice the song and get all of the details about the kids singing that day at www.plumcreek.org/KidsChristmas2019

The Sharing Center Ministry has been providing food to local families for 26 years and serves around 1,185 families a year. As the holidays approach, we provide food items as well as turkeys for approximately 150 families in November and hams for 130 families in December.

Your donations will help us provide this food and much more throughout the coming year. Envelopes are located on the Information Center counter.
As part of the Sharing Center, the clothing ministry has been providing clothing to our guests for many years. Carol Gow has led this ministry and its volunteers. Carol has spent countless hours sorting, washing and packing donated items to help our guests. Plum Creek and our community members are so grateful for Carol's years of service. It's incredible to think of the number of children and adults she has served over the years as her part of building the Kingdom. Thanks Carol and the entire clothing team! Carol is now planning to focus her energy on a new ministry. Specifically, more individualized work with our Sharing Center guests. After November, we will no longer accept clothing items for the Sharing Center.

CHRISTMAS SHOP Christmas will be here before we know it, and plans are in the works to have our Sharing Center Clients shop for their children again this year. We will have a tree up in the gathering area with suggested gifts the children are asking for. Carol Gow will also be signing up volunteers to help with this ministry. The dates for set up and Christmas gift wrapping will be December 12, 13 & 14. If you have questions, please text or call Carol at 859.816.6139.
