Dear FACCNE Members, Partners, and Friends,

Last Monday, the U.S. borders opened again almost 20 months since the travel ban was implemented. Foreign vaccinated citizens traveling from the Schengen area can now enter the U.S. directly by air. Furthermore, the FACC resumed its J1 visa program at the end of October. If you are interested in hosting a foreign intern or VIE in the near future, contact us!

We held 6 events in October and November: the Annual Life Sciences Panorama, an Immigration Workshop, a FACC'Fin Networking Event on a beautiful rooftop, a joint Workshop with French Tech Boston on Unconscious Bias, our first CFO Roundtable, and the 108th Café des Sciences with Elistair. This is close to 350 participants in our events just over the past 5 weeks. In case you were not able to attend them, the replays of all last virtual events are available on our YouTube channel.

We are looking forward to our celebration of Beaujolais Nouveau next Thursday, November 18 at La Voile BROOKLINE in partnership with the French Cultural Center. Tickets for this in-person event are limited and will sell out very soon, buy your ticket now. Unfortunately, we will NOT be able to accommodate walk-ins.
We are excited to prepare our 2022 programs and are still welcoming candidacies for the Projects and Membership Coordinator position on our team – Please spread the word and visit our job opportunities page on our website or below in this newsletter.

It’s still time to send your candidacy for the FACCNE’s Board of Directors. The deadline to apply is November 24. Please SAVE THE DATE for FACCNE’s Annual Meeting of Members on Thursday, January 20, 2022 when the Board Election will take place. More details to come in December.
