Habitat for Humanity of Tennessee is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications from affiliates for our statewide grant. We’ve been awarded $500,000 through the Tennessee Housing Development Agency’s (THDA) Housing Trust Fund Grant Program to build 20 new homes across the state.
Grant Details:
- Twenty (20) grants of $20,925 per home.
- Funds will be used to address the housing needs of households at or below 60% of area median income, with a focus on elderly and special needs populations.
- Additionally, 10 grants can be used to support households earning 61–80% of area median income.
Eligibility Requirement:
Applications will only be accepted from affiliates that have fully expended all previously granted ARPA funding.
Deadline:
The deadline to submit applications for the 2026 Habitat TN/THDA Housing Trust Fund Grant Program is Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM Central.
Application Requirements:
The application is available online (linked below). In addition to submitting the online application, the following documents must be uploaded to the Dropbox link provided below by Monday, Thursday, September 10, 2026 for your application to be considered complete:
- 2025 Third-Party Financial Audit
- 2024 Form 990
- FY2027 Habitat TN State Certification of Standards
- FY2027 Board of Directors list (including email, phone, address, & time in role)
- FY2027 Affiliate Key Contacts Roster - Including Safeguarding Officer Information
- FY2027 Organizational Chart
- Board minutes from your last two meetings
