The Community Foundation for Kingston & Area is excited to announce that applications for the Fall 2024 Community Grants are officially live!

The Community Grants Program

The Community Foundation's Community Grants Program is our broadest and largest granting program, providing grants to support projects, programs, and initiatives undertaken by qualified donees (such as registered charities) within Kingston & Area.


Twice each year, the Community Foundation invites local organizations to submit proposals to the Community Grants Program, which are reviewed by a Community Grants Committee composed of local community members who are committed to bettering Kingston & Area.

FALL 2024 Community Grants: How to Apply

Applications Must Be Submitted by:

October 15, 2024 at 11:59pm


Late or incomplete applications will not be eligible for consideration.


The Community Foundation's online grants portal is now open for applications and will close at 11:59pm on Tuesday, October 15. Applications may be completed and submitted directly through the portal*, which can be accessed using the following button:

* Applications may be completed orally if booked before October 9, 2024. To explore other options for completing your application, please email Scott Forster, Grants Officer at grants@cfka.org.

Need Some Guidance?

To help guide you through the process, we are offering two optional online Applicant Information Sessions where you can learn more about eligibility, application tips, and get answers to any questions you might have:

  • Thursday, September 26 from 6:30 – 7:30pm (via Zoom)
  • Thursday, October 3 from 3:00 4:00pm (via Zoom)

Please feel free to attend either session—both will cover the same information. If you are unable to attend, session recordings and materials will be made available on our website by October 4.
