Educational Program & Schedule
This year's program is expected to have between 9-11 ACPE-accredited CE total units available for Pharmacy recertification (for both technician-buyers and pharmacists), including the required CE credit for "Law".
See our NPPA web page on the Educational Program & Schedule for regular updates once we add lectures to the CE program, as well as for a general schedule of the program and all events.
Call For Speakers
Help us fill out the remaining available lectures on the Educational Program roster at our upcoming NPPA Conference this August 19-22, by becoming a speaker!
This can not only be rewarding for yourself and your career and help your fellow buyer colleagues by sharing your lessons learned on the job, but it will also help fund costs by providing complimentary registration, and paying for up to 5 hotel nights (additional travel expenses and/or Speaker Fee are negotiable). You can speak for as short as 15-20 minutes or up to 55 minutes.
Review our suggested topics before contacting us with your interest, which is found on our Call for Speakers web page. There you'll also find NPPA's speaker-committee email address that we ask you send your inquiry to.
There's no need to have previous speaking experience, just focus on what you know best and feel most comfortable with related to pharmacy purchasing, and know that your colleagues will still appreciate hearing your perspective, even if you feel you're not an accomplished speaker. In fact, most of our speakers are amateurs in presenting, but experienced Pharmacy Buyers, which is exactly who our attendees want to hear from the most at our events! In fact, many of our beginner speakers end up enjoying it so much, they request to speak again in the following years.
