JANUARY UPDATE
CONGRATULATIONS NEW LOCAL OFFICERS!
Congratulations on the election of Dana West as President and the re-election of Staci Lakes as Treasurer at Newark Public Health! Roslyn Goodwin has been appointed to fill the vacancy as Vice President left by Dana West’s election.

JNESO continues to address issues brought forth by the membership. We have grieved the fact that in the clinics, safety needles have not been provided, putting our members and patients at risk of needlestick injuries. JNESO has yet to receive a response from management, but understand that there are now safety needles in the clinic.

JNESO members should have received their retroactive pay for 2021 over the last 2 weeks. Again, JNESO had to file a PERC charge and a grievance for the City of Newark to answer. If you have any questions or concerns about this payment, please contact a Local Officer or your Labor Representative, Meredith Larson.

When we stand together and file grievances, the conditions are made better for all, and things get accomplished! Do not be afraid to stand up, contact your Local Officers or your Labor Representative, Meredith Larson.
