We are thrilled to share that Ethan McChesney, NPHI’s Policy Director, was selected as one of Aging Media's 2023 Future Leaders for his work in Hospice and Palliative Care.
Ethan’s contributions to policy, debate, advocacy, and stakeholder education on Capitol Hill are enormous. He has worked hard to socialize proposals to reform the Medicare hospice benefit, to convene industry leaders, aggregate disparate viewpoints, and drive toward consensus on proposals to modernize the Medicare hospice benefit. Nobody is more deserving of this award.
Congratulations, Ethan, and thank you for all the hard work you perform on behalf of our members!!!

The Predictive Index Talent Optimization System

- Registration is not required.
- Please share webinar information with team members that are interested in learning more.
THE PREDICTIVE INDEX TALENT OPTIMIZATION SYSTEM. What is talent optimization? As a business leader, you’re looking to drive results. You start each year with a strategy - what you’re going to accomplish and how you’re going to accomplish it. Yet 52% of the CEOs we surveyed for our annual benchmarking report said they didn’t achieve their business results last year. Why is that? Regardless of what kind of organization you’re in, your results are driven by people. And if your people aren’t aligned with your strategy...well, let’s just say this is where that 52% comes in.
It’s your job as a business leader to make sure your company optimizes its talent so you can achieve your objectives. The best way to do this is talent optimization. Predictive Index Talent optimization uses data and analytics to help you define job requirements, identify ideal candidates for open positions, align teams to accomplish business goals, and effectively inspire employees for optimal results.

National Enrollment Services (NES)
Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), different than Employee Retention Credit (ERC)
National Enrollment Services (NES) offers a valuable program that provides you the opportunity to help your lower-paid employees recover monies from the Federal Government through the IRS Earned Income Credit laws – at no cost to your program or employees. Turnover is costly. You and your teams continually explore new ways to recruit and retain your valued employees. This is something you may want to offer employees.
NES has also designed an affordable voluntary benefits package for hospice employees and their family members who normally cannot afford insurance. This program is proven to reduce your Worker’s Comp costs. These offerings do not require a change in your benefits broker, nor is there a charge to your program..
NES services over 1,400 healthcare facilities, home-care companies, and hospice and palliative care programs across the U.S. Additionally, NES partners with several state and national homecare, hospice, and palliative care associations.
NES handles EITC, not ERC. Please review the following for clarification.
Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is a program for individual taxpayers. EITC has been available since the mid 1970’s. Any monies that may be due are returned directly to the individual, not the employer.
Employee Retention Credit (ERC): is specific to challenges that impacted businesses during COVID. As many of you are aware,; there have been significant issues with scams related to ERC. Please use caution when speaking with companies promising help.
- Speak to your accountant. Additionally, NPHI Board Member, Patti Moore, is working with a company on ERC. ERC Specialists has been thoroughly vetted by the IRS and follows the guidelines to the letter of the law. They’ve even added a separate review process before submission to ensure compliance. They have worked with some of NPHI’s member programs to review eligibility and submit paperwork for eligible programs.
