NPHI Seminar – Empowering Growth

We are excited to announce a seminar to be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 2 - 4:30 PM ET. We have asked Alyson Cutshall, Chief Growth Officer for Teleios Collaborative Network to lead this engaging session regarding Empowering Growth on behalf of NPHI.

Wednesday, April 3rd 2:00-4:30 PM ET

  • Primary Target Audience: Outreach, Liaisons, Representatives, Business Development, Growth
  • Secondary Target Audience: Senior Leaders, Intake, Operations Leaders

The relationships NPHI member organizations hold with referral partners are important for both our current and future ability to serve our communities and eligible patients therein. Relationships are not sufficient for sustained growth of our organizations, however. Unfortunately, as we know, many within the medical community are unfamiliar with hospice eligibility or the unique benefits NPHI members offer to patients and families. The way that we approach the medical community oftentimes determines if and for what length of time our organizations are able to serve eligible patients.

We invite you to join us as Alyson shares an overview of the Six Tenets for Consultative Growth. These Six Tenets have been developed and proven to empower hospice growth professionals to approach the medical community (physician practices, skilled nursing centers, assisted living communities, hospitals, etc.) as an advisor and with confidence. The Six Tenets offer step-by-step actions that are applicable and have been proven successful in both urban and rural markets across the nation for sustained growth in referral volume and ADC.

If you would like to join us, please register here using unlock code NPHISMC24. There is a $75 registration fee per attendee. If three or more staff register at the same time, the fee will be reduced by 30% per attendee.

Freed Maxick 2024 Education Series

Freed Maxick is offering another impactful education series for NPHI Members in 2024! Many not-for-profit hospice organizations find themselves in difficult territory with declining market, increase costs related to labor and supplies, increased regulatory audits, decreased government funding, and increasing competition from for-profit hospice providers and other healthcare providers.

This time represents a unique opportunity for advance illness organizations to engage in transformation programs in order to improve margins and continue to provide mission-critical services to the communities they serve.

Transformation programs utilize proven project management techniques to evaluate and quantify opportunities with how organizations leverage people, processes, and technology, in order to optimize their margin and ensure that positive clinical outcomes are achieved and financial targets are met into the future. This session will provide an overview of transformation, development of the business imperative, development of the transformation management office, and an overview those high impact areas that organizations can focus on in order to ensure sustainability into the future.

Thursday, March 14th 4:00-5:00 pm EST: Employee Retention Credit Compliance Update

The IRS is increasing its scrutiny on ERC (Employee Retention Credit) claims, targeting businesses and the promoters who assisted them due to rising concerns over improper claims. With new legislation requiring promoters to disclose client lists to the IRS, businesses are urged to proactively review their ERC claims with an independent third party to ensure compliance and preparation for potential audits.

Freed Maxick's healthcare consulting and tax team is ready to share essential advice on dealing with the increased complexities due to the recent legislative changes. As one of the top 100 largest CPA firms in the U.S., Freed Maxick has deep experience in proactively helping hospice organizations address and resolve IRS concerns.
