Welcome Courtney!
The Norfolk Public Library is pleased to announce that Courtney Allen has accepted the position of Senior Youth Services Librarian. Courtney may look familiar to many of you. Courtney grew up in Norfolk and worked as a Library Associate on the Circulation Desk and in Technical Services at NPL 2013-2016. She holds her MLIS from Simmons College and has gained valued experience in youth services working at the Ames Free Library in Easton and at the Davis Library in Bethesda, MD. We are very excited to welcome Courtney back to the NPL team!

Monet’s Magic: a pastel hands-on workshop for adults with all materials included.

Our library has so many great resources and we are always looking for creative ways to benefit our patrons. The Norfolk Public Library is proud to announce the launch of our Stuffbrary. This collection will be full of all sorts of useful "stuff" that you may have always wanted to try, or may only use once so would prefer not to buy, like a ukulele, a sous vide cooker, or an Instant Pot.

"No Fail" Craft
Project: Terracotta pots lighthouse

Monday, June 18th, 2:00-4:00 pm

Join staff in creating projects easy enough for the most novice of crafters. All supplies provided.

For adults 18+. Registration is required.
Opening late on Monday 5/7
Reminder that the library opens at 2pm on Monday, 5/7. Due to the late opening Baby Time will run 2:00 – 2:45 and Tales for Goslings 3:00 – 3:30pm.
Art Adventures
Monday May 14th is open for registration. 3:45 – 4:45, registration required. Open to grades K – 4.

Lunch Bunch Playgroup with Miss Sarah
begins Friday May 11th. 11:30 – 12:15 on Town Hill (weather permitting). Bring your lunch and a blanket! No registration required, ages 0 – 36 months. 
Programs end June 13th and summer reading registration will begin June 1st. 
Teen Study Night
Finals will be here before you know it! Come to the library for a quiet place to study. The library will be open to TEENS ONLY from 7:30 - 10pm on the dates below. Please make sure to arrange your transportation ahead of time.
