Dear Families:

I know that the past few weeks have been a mix of hurried changes and the slower pace of life in closure. As a working parent, I am feeling the new pressures of balancing work with my children's schooling needs (and the attitudes of two teens who want to see their pals). 

Like you, I am grieving some losses—my son, a junior, is not visiting the colleges we had hoped to see, thus no road trip with my son, and worries over his prom, track season, etc.  My daughter is flooding me with Tik-Tok dances I should "know by now," and I am not sure I can listen to one more moment of her favorite playlist. But that's today.

Educational Achievement in
Remote Learning
The MA Commissioner for Education recently referenced a study done by MIT stating that Massachusetts was ranked #2 in the nation with our approach to “Remote Learning.”

The materials to support this finding are attached below.

Elementary Art Supplies During Closure
Art supplies have been donated for students in need.

Please reach out to us using ' Speak Up, Natick! ' if you need art supplies.

In your message, specify which supplies are needed (you can reference the list using the button below) and we will coordinate a no contact drop-off.

Minding Your Mind presents, “Teens, Tweens & Quarantines” is a presentation for parents and caregivers, focusing on the impact of COVID-19 on our children.

Join them live on Zoom Tuesday, April 21 at 7pm-8pm.

FEEL GOOD MOMENT:
NHS Students Collaborate with Natick Parent to Produce an Inspiring Video for Frontline Hospital Workers
A Natick parent & frontline worker put together a video dedicated to her hospital team as they work to support patients.

With help from NHS students, Julia Reinach (solo/group) and Ashna Hille (solo/group) with vocalists Chris Gagliardi, Ben Kaplan (piano/vocal), Amber Lavoie, Lianna Paglia, Ben Bradley, Sam Hinrichs (beat boxing) and Noah Abji (piano) this video was pulled together!
