Hello & Happy almost March!
I hope this email finds you well. I've attached the March menu as well as the March activites schedule. As always, items are subject to change.
There are some items I'd like to highlight for the month. First, we will be closed for Casimir Pulaski Day on Monday, 3/6. Arrangements have been made with the park district to have Yoga, Bocce & Pinacle as scheduled. Our Center doors will be locked.
Second, we will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day on Friday, 3/17. A special corned beef lunch will be served. Please RSVP by 3/10 at Noon. Seating will begin at 11:30am with lunch starting to be served at 11:45am. This will be similar to Valentine's Day with some fun entertainment to follow lunch.
Additionally we have a few new items on the calendar I want to point out. The fourth Friday of each month we now have Computer Study Hall. Bring your lap top, tablet, or phone with questions. Starting 3/1, Linda H. will be teaching her last round of Mahjongg lessons. There is still time to sign up. We also have opportunites to play Mahjongg during the week, Tuesdays at 1pm & Fridays at 1pm.
Both our nurse & social worker have had to scale back their schedules. To make it easy, we have decided on the first 3 weeks of each month. The pharmacist will continue to be the 3rd Tuesday and the dietician the 3rd Friday.
Michele continues her Zoom fitness classes on Mon, Wed & Fri 8:30am, 9:15am & 1pm unless otherwise noted by her.

Finally, as a follow up from last month, the AARP class is full as well as the Opera tickets & High Tea have sold out. If you haven't paid for the High Tea, please do so ASAP.
AARP money will be collected by the instructor.
