Greetings All,
June is looking to be a growth period as we are adding a couple new classes! First up is Ball Room Dancing on Tuesdays at 1pm. This will start June 7 with a week off June 14 and back again June 21. You do not need a partner for this class. It is geared toward individuals. Second is Tai Chi on Wednesdays at 2pm. Same deal with starting June 8, taking off June 15 and back again June 22. We are very excited to test these two classes out. If interested, please come. No need to RSVP.
A few other notable activities beside the Ball Room Dancing & Tai Chi are Laughter Yoga June 10 & 24, Book Club on June 23 and Bingo is back for select Wednesdays at 1pm. First one is June 1st! On June 8 the Cook County Sheriff's Office will be here to discuss financial scams at 10am and on June 15 we will be hosting a Tie-Dye event outside at 10:30am. Bring your t-shirts, hats, socks, pants- whatever you'd like! Please call or stop by the Center to RSVP by Friday, June 10.
Finally, don't forget we are closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day. We hope you will go out & support the Norwood Park parade as we celebrate 100 years. Information below.
