Now Accepting Nominations for 2025 REALTOR®-of-the-Year

The purpose of the REALTOR®-of-the-Year (ROTY) award is to honor a REALTOR® who has made significant contributions to the advancement of the real estate profession and their community. This award recognizes outstanding effort and dedication to the REALTOR® brand, showcases the vital role REALTORS® play in their communities, and highlights their qualifications for leadership positions in business and organizations.

Nominations must be submitted by March 1, 2026

NRA FORMS UPDATE

With the passage of LB 187 (2025), the Agency Disclosure form has been updated, removing the language, “A Written Agreement Was Not Required to Create a Buyer Agency Relationship.”

The new form, provided by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission, has been uploaded to the NRA form platforms and will be updated on Monday, February 9th.

NREC VACANCY

Position: Salesperson Member at Large (9/1/2026 - 8/28/2032)

Nebraska REALTORS® Association is seeking applications for the association’s recommendation for the Nebraska Real Estate Commission Salesperson Member at Large. The interview subcommittee forwards recommendations to the Board of Directors for approval, which then forwards the recommendations to the Governor. The current appointment ends August 28, 2026. Commissioners are appointed to a six-year term.
