NRAI to be Acquired by Wolters Kluwer

National Registered Agents Inc. (NRAI) has announced today they have entered into an agreement to be acquired by Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services. The sale is expected to be completed subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions, including regulatory approval. Although the ownership of NRAI may be affected by the transaction, your existing relationship with CLAS Information Services will not change.
CLAS Information Services remains a privately held company that is affiliated with NRAI, and will continue to provide clients with the expansive registered agent network, compliance and governance solutions and other innovative products and services through NRAI.
This transaction will not effect you as:
- NRAI will maintain its corporate name and operate as an independent division of Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services.
- NRAI will not be absorbed into CT Corporation Services.
- No customer will be moved to CT Corporation Services and you will continue to do business with CLAS Information Services as you always have.
- As a client of CLAS/NRAI nothing will change. You will continue to receive the same great service and value that you have come to expect.
In the coming weeks it is possible that misleading information will be spread in the industry as to how this change will affect you.
