Announcing Dr. Chris Pfund, Director of the Mentor Training Core, as New Contact P.I. for NRMN!

The National Research Mentoring Network will miss Dr. Rafael E. Luna, who is stepping down from his position as the Contact PI and Executive Director of NRMN. Dr. Luna accepted a position at Boston College that has two roles: Associate Dean in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences, and Director of the Pre-Health Program. During his time with NRMN, Dr. Luna worked closely with the Leadership Team and Key Personnel supporting NRMN's efforts to reach mentees and mentors on a national level.

The NRMN Leadership Team has implemented a continuity plan, wherein Dr. Chris Pfund will serve as the Contact PI for NRMN and Director of the Administrative Core, in addition to her current position as PI of the Mentor Training Core. We congratulate Dr. Luna on his new position and thank him for his role in supporting the mission of NRMN and the Diversity Program Consortium. We wish him all the best at Boston College!

Looking forward to a productive 2018,
