It is exciting to know that in a few short days, NRMS will return to 5 day-a-week, in-person learning.  I know that the teachers and staff share in this excitement, but it is important to realize that our students may be experiencing a whole host of emotions regarding next Monday.  Regardless of how our students are feeling, we will work hard to support our kids as we embark on the remainder of the school year.

Please know that we are not making changes to any of our mitigation strategies as we want to  continue to keep our students and staff as safe and healthy as possible.  Arrival and dismissal will look the same and continue to be staggered.  We have added tables to both the cafeteria and media center and we will continue to have two students per table for all lunch periods.  Students will have the option to go outside with a lunch aide during their lunch period, but please know that this is not the traditional recess period that we have had in the past as we still want to maintain social distancing to the best of our ability.  Also note that we will no longer be live streaming classes as all students are back at NRMS with the exception of those students who are on the Remote Learning Team.
