Success Stories:

In August of 2020, the NRTRC collaborated with the Washington State Telehealth Collaborative and the University of Washington, Harborview Behavioral Health Institute along with NRTRC stakeholder subject matter experts to create quality telehealth education offerings.

These offerings include the Washington State education that is mandated for all licensed healthcare professionals, with the exception of MD’s and DO’s, delivering care in the state of Washington.

The NRTRC is creating new partnerships to develop telehealth training for providers treating veterans and working with the University of Utah and the Rural and Underserved Utah Training Experience (RUUTE) program. The groups plans to disseminate telehealth training which will focus on curriculum for medical and nursing students. Since January 2021 over 24,000 participants have enrolled in the telehealth online training offerings. Please visit our professional development page on the NRTRC website and check back for updated courses.
