Greetings Northwest Region:

The Biden administration has announced that the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) will end on May 11, 2023. The end of the PHE means multiple federal regulatory waivers and flexibilities will be terminated, impacting telehealth. Please see the end of the PHE check list created by PYA. The waivers and flexibilities specific to telehealth are highlighted in this PDF.
NOW LIVE: Telehealth Access Points (TAPs) are a dedicated public space for people to access a telehealth appointment. These spaces feature an adequate internet connection, a device with a camera, a speaker and a microphone and a private, dedicated room or kiosk where the telehealth visit can be conducted.

To find a TAP in your area, enable the TAPs button on the find teleheath site. If you know of a TAP in your area that is not on this map, please update it by using this form.

Do you provide health care or services via telehealth?

Telehealth Triumphs
I work for a group of seven FQHCs in Connecticut as the executive director of our telehealth network.

Now that telehealth has become an accepted means of furnishing care, our next hurdle is to level the digital inequity playing field for our most underserved patients. One of the ways we are doing this involves the use of Digital Navigators.

The (Navigating the Telehealth Neighborhood) training program seems like one of the most comprehensive training resources for this purpose that I have seen. The fact that it is fully self-paced, so someone can spend as much or as little time as they wish on any particular section or topic, makes me think that it will become part of the standard on-boarding training for those of my centers hiring navigators.

Kudos to NRTRC for creating this great resource, and making it available to all.
