New Online Telehealth Training is Now Live: The NRTRC has added additional online telehealth training courses in partnership with the University of Utah School of Nursing, and the University of Washington’s Behavioral Health Institute team. The new exciting course offerings include Virtual Primary Care and TeleBehavioral Health specific for Veterans Affairs (VA) providers in Washington State. The FCC’s Emergency Broadband Benefit opens May 12. Acting Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel stated: “Families in every corner of the country have been struggling to get online throughout this pandemic.
"For those families, we now say help is around the corner. In less than two weeks, we will have a new way for disconnected Americans to access the internet to carry out their day-to-day life, so they can reach the virtual classroom, take advantage of telehealth, and seek new employment opportunities.”
The outreach toolkit is a collection of social media messages, printables and other content to assist communities, outreach partners and grassroots organizers in raising awareness about the Emergency Broadband Benefit.

The Health and Human Services Division is addressing rural maternal and obstetrics care by offering three four-year grants totaling $12 million. This program includes using telehealth to boost maternal health outcomes among underserved populations in rural America.
