Nuclear Walk Raises Record Funds

We held our Annual Nuclear Medicine Walk on Sunday, October 6th, raising more than $1,500, surpassing funds raised in previous years. Proceeds from this event benefit the Society of Nuclear Medicine's Professional Development and Education Fund (PDEF). Your contributions enable groundbreaking research to combat cardiovascular disease and other diseases in their early stages.

Our Nuclear Department Director, Emanuel D. Chryssos, MD, FACC, RPVI, discussed the anxieties patients may experience when coming for a diagnostic PET CT or SPECT test. He and his team work together to alleviate this anxiety by providing clear and open communication with their patients so they know what to expect during their visit.

We would like to thank our nuclear tech team and volunteers, including our Technical Director of Nuclear Medicine, Mary Ciervo. Their continued passion for North Suffolk Cardiology and nuclear medicine makes this walk possible.

We would like to congratulate the following physicians on their nomination for Bethpage Federal Credit Union's Best of Long Island 2025.
