FY 2025 Clean Energy to Communities Program: Peer-Learning Cohorts

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides an opportunity for local, regional, and tribal governments to participate in peer-learning cohorts regarding clean energy. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local governments, tribal governments, metropolitan planning organizations, and regional planning organizations

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? Rather than providing monetary awards, this program will provide technical assistance

FY 2024 State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will strengthen the cybersecurity practices and resilience of state, local, and territorial (SLT) governments. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? All 56 states and territories, including any state of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands

FY 2024 Fair Housing Initiative Program: Fair Housing Organizations Initiative

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The program will carry out education, outreach and enforcement activities to prevent or eliminate discriminatory housing practices and to inform individuals of their rights and responsibilities under the Fair Housing Act (FHA). Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Continued Development Component (CDC) are Qualified Fair Housing Enforcement Organizations (QFHOs), Fair Housing Enforcement Organizations (FHOs), and other private nonprofit organizations seeking to build their capacity to conduct fair housing enforcement activities. Eligible applicants for the Establishing New Organizations Component (ENOC) are QFHOs that are sponsoring the creation of a new organization to conduct fair housing enforcement activities in areas of the country which are currently unserved or underserved

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $3.7 million

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support fair housing test coordinator training courses in general/basic fair housing testing and advanced/complex fair housing testing. Click here for more information.

Qualified Fair Housing Enforcement Organizations (QFHOs) and Fair Housing Enforcement Organizations (FHOs), public or private not-for-profit organizations or institutions, and other public or private entities that are formulating or carrying out programs to prevent or eliminate discriminatory housing practices; agencies of state or local governments; and agencies that participate in the Fair Housing Assistance Program (FHAP)

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $500,000

FY 2024 Older Adults Home Modification Grant Program 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The program will support comprehensive projects that make safety and functional home modification repairs and renovations to meet the needs of low-income seniors. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State, county, city, township, and special district governments; nonprofit organizations; faith-based organizations; and public housing authorities

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $30 million

FY 2025 USGS Cooperative Landslide Hazard Mapping and Assessment Program 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support communication, planning, coordination, mapping, assessments, and data collection of landslide hazards. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State, Tribal, territorial, and local governments. State geologic surveys or other state offices organized under a university system are also eligible

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $1 million

Environmental Protection Agency

FY 2024 Reducing Lead in Drinking Water Grant Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to l improve public health by investing in water infrastructure improvements to address lead exposure in drinking water in disadvantaged communities. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Applicants are community water systems, water systems located in an area governed by an Indian Tribe, non-transient non-community water systems, qualified nonprofit organizations servicing a public water system, municipalities, and state, interstate, or intermunicipal agencies

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $35 million
