Staff from NSF and NIH will conduct a webinar to discuss the revised formats and demonstrate the SciENcv system.

NSF implemented revised versions of the Biographical Sketch and Current and Pending (Other) Support formats for consistency with the Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG) (NSF 23-1). The requirement to use the revised formats is effective for proposals submitted or due on or after January 30, 2023.

These revised formats are now available in SciENcv and on the NSF Policy Office website. As a reminder, the mandate to use SciENcv only for preparation of these senior personnel documents will go into effect for new proposals submitted or due on or after October 23, 2023.

The Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) is hosting a webinar to share information about the Research Infrastructure Improvement (RII) Track-4: EPSCoR Research Fellows solicitation NSF 23-535. This opportunity provides awards to build research capacity and transform the career trajectories of non-tenured and tenured investigators through extended collaborative visits to the nation's premier private, governmental, or academic research centers.

This solicitation offers two tracks - RII Track-4:NSF and RII Track 4:@NASA. While they are similar in achieving the same goals, RII Track-4:NSF is open to a broad community, and RII Track-4:@NASA focuses on PIs from specific institutions of higher education with high enrollments of trainees from underrepresented populations in STEM (See the solicitation more details) to collaborate specifically with researchers at NASA's participating research centers. The aim of this webinar is to inform the community about this opportunity.

2023 NV INBRE UROP
The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) is INBRE's undergraduate research program where rising junior & senior level students work on an independent research project over the summer (10 weeks). This program provides student recipients with an award of $7,200 as a summer student worker, and each mentor receives $1,000 to defray the cost of lab supplies.

ready to apply for the traditional UROP (Undergraduate Research
Opportunity Program) experience, but wish to gain a mentored, authentic research experience. Provides student recipients with an award of $3,000 over 5 weeks during the summer.
