NSF Reviewers Wanted
EPSCoR Researchers Encouraged to Volunteer

NSF’s Regional Innovation Engines (NSF Engines) program is recruiting a diverse group of reviewers representing all backgrounds, technical disciplines, and technology sectors to evaluate its first set of NSF Engines proposals. NSF is searching for seasoned as well as new reviewers who may have less experience with the NSF merit review process but may have deep experience as practitioners in core focus areas. Register to attend an informational webinar on Sept 30, 3 pm ET and fill out the reviewer interest short form (takes under 4 minutes) by Oct 7. 
NASA Seeking Subject Matter Experts
NASA's Science Mission Directorate is Seeking SMEs

To increase the pool of un-conflicted reviewers NASA’s Science Mission Directorate is seeking subject matter experts (SMEs) to engage in discussions at a virtual panel meeting or provide external reviews. New researchers including postdoctoral fellows and sometimes upper level graduate students are welcome. Follow the links listed on this website to the volunteer review forms and indicate the fields in which you consider yourself to be a subject matter expert and click the boxes. Qualified SMEs may, and are encouraged, to volunteer to one or more program reviewer call.
Nominate Outstanding Undergraduate
2023 Sam Lieberman Regents' Award for Student Scholarship - Undergraduate

The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) is pleased to announce the nomination period for the 2023 Sam Lieberman Regents' Award for Student Scholarship for undergraduate students. One undergraduate student from UNLV will be selected and will receive a $5,000 cash stipend. The award is based upon distinguished academic accomplishments, leadership ability, and service contributions while a registered NSHE undergraduate student, as well as the recipient's potential for continued success. All nominations must be submitted in writing on behalf of the student by an academic or administrative faculty member.
