JACKY ROSEN, U.S. Senator for Nevada NEVADA GRANT SERIES Friday, March 6th 8:30am - 12:00pm Las Vegas City Hall On March 6 th , Senator Rosen will be in Las Vegas hosting several representatives from federal agencies to talk to local stakeholders about grant opportunities and answer any questions attendees may have about the application process. We’ll have Department of Transportation, Department of Agriculture, and FEMA officials on hand that day.   Anyone planning to attend should RSVP directly to dane_hudson@rosen.senate.gov .

Request for Information Knowledge and Experience with Healthy Food Choices Among Rural and Urban American Indian and Alaska Natives   MSRDC and the Food & Drug Administration's Office of Minority Health & Health Equity (OMHHE) are pleased to present a new Request for Information.  The MSI STEM Research & Development Consortium (MSRDC)  is looking to engage our member institutions who have knowledge and experience working among rural and urban American Indians and Alaskan Natives (AI/AN) specifically with health disparities and food choices.   ​Submissions will be accepted until 5:00pm EST on Friday, March 20, 2020 . Request for Proposals (RFP) Accredited CME/CPD Activity at WCO-IOF-ESCEO 2020 Application Due: March 2, 2020 Projects that will be considered for Pfizer and Lilly support will focus on live CME/CPD education with enduring materials on April 4th from 12:15-13:45pm (room secured) at the 2020 World Congress on Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases (WCO-IOF-ESCEO) World Congress in Barcelona, Spain April 2-5th.   Link to Full RFP

Request for Proposals (RFP) MAPK Inhibition in Melanoma Application Due: April 15, 2020 Projects that will be considered for Pfizer support will focus on increasing the understanding of MAPK pathway inhibitors and their use in the treatment of melanoma. Link to Full RFP

Request for Proposals (RFP) Targeted Therapy in Colorectal Cancer Application Due: April 13, 2020 Projects that will be considered for Pfizer support will focus on increasing the understanding of targeted therapies including BRAF inhibitors and their use in the treatment of colorectal cancer (CRC) . Request for Proposals (RFP) Ulcerative Colitis Patient Education Application Due: March 27, 2020 Projects that will be considered for Pfizer support should prioritize patient education that will aid in close coordination with healthcare practitioners (HCPs) and allow patients to optimally manage their ulcerative colitis, including the ability to recognize suboptimal treatment and reduce steroid usage.  Link to Full RFP
