Many carriers are moving towards "straight through processing" or "automated rating" of final audited exposures. In order to accomplish this with audit data being returned from vendors on different systems, the industry needs to take its game up a notch. This session will review options for achieving successful vendor to carrier back-end integration.
CA & NY recently passed new information security laws that will apply to all companies hosting data related to businesses in those states. Many vendors and carriers do not meet all of the new requirements today. This session will review the new requirements and discuss what is needed to become compliant.
Mike Nahlovsky started his career as a premium auditor in 1989. Over his 29-year career, Mike has held the positions of: Premium Auditor, Audit Manager, Director of IT Compliance, VP of Sales, CIO and President/CEO. Mike is currently the President and CEO of Nexus Insurance Solutions, a company that provides premium audit and loss control software to the commercial insurance industry on as Software as a Service, (SaaS) basis. Nahlovsky has a unique perspective that comes from years of working with carriers and vendors of all sizes to help them gain efficiencies through integration and automation. Nahlovsky has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Mike has also earned the APA, CIPA and CPCU designations.
