A Message From N.S.J.A

Hello NSJA Family,
As we enter the final months of 2026, we are taking a moment to celebrate the connections we've made, the partnerships we've strengthened, and the impact we've created throughout our communities.
At the North Shore Juneteenth Association, our commitment to celebrating Black history, culture, and excellence extends far beyond the month of June. Throughout the year, we work to create meaningful experiences that educate, inspire, empower, and bring people together.
One of our proudest moments this year was our recent Youth Voice Summit, where young people gathered to share their perspectives, explore leadership, and engage in meaningful conversations about their communities and futures.
Their energy, creativity, and willingness to participate reminded us why investing in the next generation is so important. When we create opportunities for young people to be heard, we also create opportunities for them to lead.
As we look ahead, we're excited to continue building on this momentum.
This October, we're bringing community members together for a little fun and fundraising through our upcoming line dance class.
We are also preparing for our 2027 Black Excellence Recognition celebration, where we will once again honor individuals whose contributions and achievements deserve recognition.
Every event, program, and partnership represents another opportunity to strengthen our community and advance our mission.
None of this happens without the generosity of our supporters, volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and everyone who believes in the importance of our work.
As we prepare for another year of programming, we invite you to continue growing with us. Whether you attend an event, nominate someone for recognition, volunteer your time, make a donation, or introduce someone new to NSJA, your involvement makes a difference.
The work continues, the impact grows, and the legacy we are building belongs to all of us.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
In community and purpose,
The North Shore Juneteenth Association
