Brooklyn, NY – February 3, 2025. The National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA) is excited to announce Donna Cardillo as the keynote speaker and Dr. Randolph Rasch as the endnote speaker for the NSNA 73rd Annual Convention, April 9-13, 2025, in Seattle, Washington.
Keynote speaker Donna Cardillo, MA, RN, CSP, FAAN, is known as The Inspiration Nurse. She is a powerhouse of energy, wisdom, and humor, who has been referred to as a positive force of nature who lights a path for others to follow. She is the original “Dear Donna” columnist at Nurse.com.
"I am both excited and honored to be the opening keynote speaker at the NSNA 73rd Annual Convention," Ms. Cardillo said. "Student nurses are the future of nursing, creating a new vision and paradigm for healthcare and health promotion as they lead us forward. They shine as nursing's brightest beacon, lighting the way to a better tomorrow!"
Ms. Cardillo's accomplished career combines over 35 years of clinical, managerial, and business experience, not to mention her stint as a professional singer. Donna is author of four books including the award-winning Falling Together: How to Find Balance, Joy, and Meaningful Change When Your Life Seems to be Falling Apart. She is a certified meditation teacher and chair yoga instructor, labyrinth facilitator, Reiki Master, and Certified Forest Therapy Guide.
Endnote speaker Randolph F. R. Rasch, PhD, RN, FNP, FAANP, FNAP, FAAN, FADLN, is a professor and the ninth and immediate past dean of the Michigan State University College of Nursing. Dr. Rasch has over thirty years of experience teaching in BSN, MSN, DNP and PhD programs in nursing.
“It is an honor and a privilege to address NSNA members. What I hope to share with them is a vision of the future of nursing and the contributions they can make to the health of our fellow humans,” Dr. Rasch said.
Dr. Rasch was the first State-wide Director of Nursing Services/Programs Director in the Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) and lead the development of the Quality Assurance Program for Health Services. Also, with over 30 years’ experience of coaching/mentoring experience, he recently certified as an Executive/Life Coach by the Hudson Coaching Institute. He has published and presented in the areas of primary care, HIV risk reduction, and diversity in health care education and clinical practice.
